We homogenise our milk in order to distribute the cream content of the milk evenly throughout the pouch so every single drop of Bannister Downs milk you taste has a rich creaminess to it.
When we don’t perform the homogenisation process for our Non-Homogenised full cream milk, the cream naturally separates from the milk and rises to the top of the bottle, leaving a delicious layer of creamy goodness – just like folks remember their milk ‘used to be’ back in the day.
