An exciting launch event for Bannister Downs Dairy was held in West Perth on the 21st of June, to time in with our milestone 18th Birthday !! It was fantastic to present a preview of our refreshed brand logo and style for 2023 and also introduce a brand new product and additional packaging options, all available very soon!
Guest speakers on the night included the City of Perth Lord Mayor, Basil Zempilas, with a live crossover to Adelaide for an update with our Brand Ambassador and World Champion Swimming sensation, ‘King’ Kyle Chalmers, Wesfarmers CEO & MD and Chair of Rowing Australia, Mr Rob Scott, and the Executive Chair of the Hancock Group, Gina Rinehart. The Master of Ceremonies for the event was the Hon. Adam Giles (CEO of Hancock Agriculture) and the night opened with our National Anthem, beautifully sung by Alana Lock. It was difficult not to join in dancing to Lana’s version of the iconic Tina Turner’s ‘Simply the Best’ very fitting for a great night of celebration!
Next up, Banister Downs Dairy (BDD), Hancock Prospecting’s dairy partner, excitedly shared an early preview of some of their new products in their range.
Listening to feedback over several years from many customers, we were very pleased to share the news that shortly we will have a Lactose-Free milk available in our 745ml glass bottle. The new Lactose Free Milk has been processed naturally with an enzyme to break down the lactose sugars and make our fresh milk comfortable to digest, for anyone with lactose sensitivity. With the addition of our award winning Farm Fresh Milk also soon to be available in our 745ml glass bottle, our glass bottle ‘trio’ range will be completed.
Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that our famous Farm Fresh and All Lite Milks are shortly to be available in a 2 litre bottle. This new bottle is made from 100% recycled plastics which will be a first for Australian milk (to be available in a bottles made entirely from recycled plastic).
As a wonderful compilation of the journey in our first 18 years, a special book “Letters to Bannister Downs, and then Some” was also launched – a sample of a range of letters, articles, awards, and contributions we gathered over the years and a lovely keepsake to have as a record of this important change in our brand styling for the future.
We thank our amazing partner and wonderful event hostess – Mrs Gina Rinehart, for creating such an event which was really appreciated and enjoyed in celebration of these exciting announcements!
